What was the highlight of Monte Carlo Sharm Resort & Spa（蒙特卡洛沙姆度假酒店及Spa）
Food was poor
Staff were nice. The room was good. The gardens were beautiful and kept well. It was very clean around the resort. The waves restaurant had nice burgers and chips.
Food was the same every day and not very good quality. Food not hot and sometimes dry. The alcohol measures were tiny, like just a cap full. Many times we had to complain. The Christmas Dinner and new year Dinner was €200 per person for each meal, but this was not mentioned on checking in. There's no actual beach, only a jetty to access the sea. Sunbeds around the pool were uncomfortable but on the beach they were better. Was it worth the expensive price? No, not really.

Value for money? Not in my opinion.
The gardens are well kept and beautiful. The room was large and had 2 big double beds. The bathroom had a bath, a separate shower and a separate toilet. It had plenty of toiletries. The fridge was well stocked and we had fruit and sparkling wine. The staff were very friendly and helped you wherever you went. There's 2 nice pools, one is heated. There's not an actual beach, it's man made. To get into the sea you have 2 jettys but one was closed for the duration of our stay.
We went to 2 specialised restaurants, Chinese and the Grill. The food was very poor, tasteless. We were disappointed. In the main buffet restaurant it was pretty much the same every day, but the soup was nice. The alcohol is the cheapest in Egypt at 100 egp per bottle, and yet the measure you get was so small, it was ridiculous. We did complain to the barman about the small measure and he put another tiny amount into the glass. It has a lazy river, but no floatation rings to use it, plus it wasn't working when we arrived, although they turned it on for us, then we went to buy floats from the shop.

Amazing vacation
The hotel is close to the sea, where is a beautiful reef with a wide variety of exotic fish, well-groomed territory, cleanliness in the room, delicious and varied food, very hospitable and friendly staff.
There was a bit of a lack of entertainment, although this is not exactly a disadvantage for a relaxing holiday concept.
